Learning Progress Monitoring at EFIP

At EFIP (École Française Internationale de Pristina), we place great importance on personalized monitoring of each student, focusing on academic progress and student development, starting from kindergarten and throughout their schooling. This monitoring relies on tools adapted to each stage: the learning progress booklet in kindergarten, the school report in primary school, and then the grade reports in middle and high school, in partnership with CNED (National Centre for Distance Education).

Kindergarten Learning Progress Booklet

From the very first years of school, children progress at their own pace. To support this development, we use a learning progress booklet in kindergarten. This booklet is:

  • A tool for continuous observation, enriched throughout the year, allowing teachers to track progress in all areas.

  • A means of clear communication with families, promoting family engagement, by highlighting the child’s progress through concrete situations.

  • A basis for summarizing achievements to support school readiness at the end of the final kindergarten year, before entering first grade.

In Primary School: the School Report

Starting from first grade, each student has a school report, an official document that follows their academic progress throughout primary education, until they enter middle school. This report allows:

  • Personalized monitoring of student achievements and progress in all subjects,
  • Regular communication with families to support family engagement,
  • Support for orientation and the preparation of the student’s academic record;
  • A complete record of the student’s educational journey

The reports are given to families at the end of each semester and presented during individual meetings with teachers.

In Middle and High School: the Grade Reports

For middle and high school students, monitoring is carried out through semester grade reports, prepared in coordination with CNED (National Center for Distance Education), EFIP’s partner for the French curriculum. The grade reports allow:

  • Student evaluation through the assessment of skills and knowledge acquired in each subject,
  • Ensuring consistency between the instruction received at EFIP and the official requirements of the French education system,
  • Preparing students for national exams (DNB, baccalauréat),
  • Guaranteeing academic recognition of the student’s educational path, whether continuing studies in France or abroad.

Our Commitment

At every stage of schooling, EFIP ensures rigorous, clear, and constructive monitoring of learning, supporting student progress and ensuring educational continuity. Whether it’s the learning progress booklet in kindergarten, the school report in primary school, or the grade reports in middle and high school, these learning tools are key to personalized learning and strong teacher-family collaboration.
