Our School
Campus and Schools
Created in 2016 with the support of the French Embassy in Kosovo, the French School of Pristina (EFIP) is a private and secular school located in Pristina, Matiçan.
The EFIP benefits from a campus of more than 1000 m2, housing the nursery, Kindergarten, Elementary school, Middle School and High School in distinct areas of the building, each featuring well-equipped classrooms.

Teaching team
With its dynamic and committed teaching team, EFIP aims to provide each student with solid knowledge and skills, along with an education open to Europe and the world. Rooted in the values of the French educational system, the school promotes the French language and culture within a secular, multilingual, and intercultural framework. Our teachers foster curiosity, critical thinking, creativity, and a global perspective in every student.
Thanks to small class sizes, each child receives individualized attention, allowing for a learning experience adapted to different strengths, rhythms, and needs. In this caring and supportive environment, students grow with confidence and develop a lifelong love of learning.
EFIP’s team is made up of qualified, experienced educators, many of whom are native French speakers or trained in the French education system. Their diverse cultural backgrounds and international experience bring depth and relevance to teaching. Teachers work collaboratively to ensure coherence across subjects and effective support for all students.
Beyond academics, the staff is actively involved in school life — leading clubs, organizing cultural events, and encouraging strong student-teacher-family connections. Through their dedication and professionalism, EFIP’s teachers help shape responsible, respectful, and open-minded learners ready to succeed in a changing world.

AEFE Network
EFIP is part of the AEFE (Agency for French Education Abroad), a prestigious global network of 580 French schools in 139 countries, serving over 390,000 students. As an accredited member, EFIP allows students to transfer to any AEFE school worldwide without an entrance exam, offering seamless academic continuity for mobile families.
The AEFE network promotes excellence, multilingualism, and shared values such as openness, equality, and critical thinking. Students benefit from international learning opportunities, cultural exchanges, and access to top universities around the world.
Belonging to this network connects EFIP students to a global community and prepares them for success in an international environment.
Accreditation
The EFIP is approved by the French Ministry of Education and by the Kosovo Ministry of Education up to Grade 5. From Grade 6 onwards, EFIP follows the official French curriculum for middle and high school level, using materials developed by the National Center for Distance Education (CNED) with support from teaching assistant. Evaluations are sent to France for correction by qualified teachers. CNED, a public institution under the French Ministry of Education, provides state-backed distance education services.
In September 2024, EFIP opened the High School level (Grades 10-12). High School is an essential stage since it leads to the French national BACCALAUREAT, which is recognized throughout Europe.
