Reading Aloud: Watch Our Grades 4 and 5 Shine

Grades 4 and 5 are participating in the international competition Les Petits Champions de la Lecture, a major reading aloud contest recognized by the French Ministry of Education, which brings together more than 200,000 students in France and in French schools abroad.

This competition encourages students to develop expressive reading, oral fluency, and a love of reading.

The students worked on an excerpt from Kamo, l’idée du siècle by Daniel Pennac, a humorous book about starting middle school, and enthusiastically practiced to share their reading.
